Hours & Location

The Liberty Bell Museum is a non-profit organization and is open to the public. We are handicapped accessible by appointment. There is no fee for admission. Our mission is supported by the donations of our visitors. For group tours and school tours, please call for reservations (610-435-4232), or email us at info@libertybellmuseum.org.

Museum Hours

January Starting 1/19/09, Wed. through Sat. 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.
February and March Wednesday through Saturday 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.
April through November Monday through Saturday 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.
Other hours by appointment


Special Holiday Hours

    Friday November 28, 2008, through Saturday, January 3, 2009, we are open to the public the following extended hours:

  • Mondays and Tuesdays - 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesdays - 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday - 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Museum will be closed Sundays, as well as Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, 2008 and Thursday, January 1, 2009.

The Liberty Bell Museum is located on the lower level of Zion’s United Church of Christ, 622 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown, Pa 18101. We are just east of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument at Center Square, 7th and Hamilton Streets. Street parking and parking lots are available in center city.
